About:

I am a Ph.D. student at Cinvestav IPN, Unidad Guadalajara. In 2017, she joined the Distributed & Multi-Agents Systems group, in the area of Cognitive Architectures. Main research interests include Distributed Systems, Cognitive Architectures, Computational Neuroscience, Artificial Intelligence, among others.

Research:

Cognitive Architecture of Attention

Research Abstract:

We are working on the development of an architecture for attentional control. Attentional control direct efforts towards information relevant to the objectives, suppressing irrelevant information and inappropriate actions, in addition to coordinating cognitive processes when more than one task is performed simultaneously.

Biography:

Currently, I am student at Cinvestav IPN, Unidad Guadalajara. My initial training was as an engineer (B.A. in Systems Engineering, UNSIJ, 2012), my masters involved applying the software development methodology theory in embedded systems (M. in Computer Science, Autonomous University of Guadalajara, 2016).
