Research:
Non-Declarative Memory System for Virtual Creatures
Research Abstract:
Over the last years, the interest in virtual creatures that are capable of exhibiting human-like behavior has increased. In order to attack this problem, a cognitive architecture that uses neurosciences as a fundament is being created. The Cuayollotl cognitive architecture is conformed by a set of different cognitive functions like decision making, planning, emotions, atention, preception, motricity, motivation, declarative memory and non-declarative memory. Non-declarative memory is in charge of habits, skills, conditioning and non-associative learning.
