Pervasive Service Composition in Dynamic and Open Environments

Research Abstract:

Boundaries of service-oriented computing have changed significantly due to the evolution of mobile computing and wireless networks. New mobile devices are revolutionizing the way we access and distribute services, together with network paradigms driving the concept of computation without the presence of stable network connections. In this research, a new approach for pervasive service composition in open and dynamic environments is proposed; it allow users migrate from one environment to another, while their services with physical dependencies are available according with the resources in the local user vicinity.

Biography:

Francisco Cervantes received his BE degree in computer systems from Jiquilpan Institute of Technology, Mexico, in 2003 and his MS in computer science from CENIDET, Mexico in 2006. Currently, he is studying for a PhD degree at CINVESTAV Guadalajara, Mexico in co-supervision with University of Grenoble, Francia. His research interests include multi-agent systems, self-adaptive systems, embeded systems and constraint satisfactions problems.
