About: 

She is currently a Ph.D. student at Cinvestav IPN, unidad Guadalajara. In 2013, she joined the Distributed & Multi-Agents Systems group, in the area of Cognitive Architectures. In 2014, she received hers master's degree in Computer Science working in that research line.
Main research interests include Distributed Systems, Cognitive Architectures, Computational Neuroscience, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision and Image Processing, among others.

Cognitive Architecture of Attention

Research Abstract: 

We are working on the development of an architecture for multimodal selective attention. Selective Attention is the process that allows us to filter out sensory information, to give priority to more useful information, depending on its context.
